Itinerary

of dates:
7th April 2006– 14th April 2006
DAY 1
Depart university from chosen collection
point. Journey down to Dover followed by Ferry crossing from
Dover to Calais. Overnight transfer through France to the
resort of Salou.
DAY 2
Arrive in Salou – CHECK IN
to the hotel and CHECK OUT the talent around your pool
or beach area (5 mins walk) Enjoy a relaxing afternoon taking
in the sunshine before hitting the town for our captains welcome
drink followed by our first theme night of the week.
DAY 3
Put on those University colours and drag
yourself onto the playing field in order to prove once and
for all who really deserves to be considered for the top slots
in your chosen sports.
Head back for a shower (optional, but
suggested!) a bite to eat and then hit the town for the second
of our big nights out on the town.
DAY 4
Its time to stand up (those who are capable)
and be counted yet again , as today really will sort out the
men from the boys and the true sporting girls from those who
would rather be painting their nails!
After heading back for another shower
(yep 2 in a week) its time to meet as advised nearer the time
and climb aboard the relevant buses to be transferred to the
local nightclub (PACHA) for the closing ceremony and Prize
giving. (Massive night in 2003, lets go one better in 2005)
DAY 5
FREE DAY – Optional tour of
Barcelona including Camp Nou, visit Spains Premier Theme Park
Port Aventura, and ride Dragon Khan -–the worlds only
8 loop rollercoaster – Dare you face the dragon?!!
Feeling exhausted? Or just want to soak
up the sun, then why not take advantage of this time to top
up the tan and laze around the pool or pop to the beach.
Having stuffed yourself silly with the
final night’s dinner why not head out onto the town and
visit all those favourite places, that hold special memories
of the previous 4 days and enjoy your last few hours in the
resort of SALOU.
DAY 6
Get up and pack frantically pack, trying
not to take too much of everybody else’s baggage as you
go. Pop to the shop and buy any last minute gifts for Auntie
Doris as a memento before re-boarding your coach / plane for
the journey back to “Sunny UK”
DAY 7
Catch the early morning ferry back to
Dover and travel across the UK to your University Campus.
