Q. Do we have to go by coach?

A. No there are three different travel options.

Option 1 - Coach

The coach picks you up from your chosen collection point (usually Student Union) and returns you to the same place. Our coaches and our drivers are the key to our success. Our fully executive coaches will be fitted with reclining seats, toilets, tv/video (DVD on newer coaches)

All of our coach drivers must comply with the strict regulations, which govern the number of hours they can work and drive. As an example, one driver can be on duty for up to 15 hours per day with a maximum of 9 hours driving time. After 4.5 hours continuous driving your driver must stop for a short break. To maintain maximum pleasure for all of our clients we use two drivers per coach for all of our tours to Salou, this helps to ensure there will be no problem with drivers hours. However due to the long transfer from the UK to Salou both drivers must rest on the day of arrival and the day of departure from the resort.

Option 2 - Flight Inclusive arranged by SET Sports

There is an option for SET Sports to organise your flights for you.  The flights will be from an airport local to your University and will be to either Barcelona, Reus or Girona subject to availability.  SET Sports will also arrange the transfer for your group from the Spanish airport to the resort of Salou.

Please note that the group will be responsible for finding their own way to the UK airport.  SET Sports can arrange this for an additional cost for groups over 20.

Option 3 - Flights arranged by Group

With this option the group are responsible for every aspect of the travel arrangements.  SET Sports will be responsible for the transport once in the resort for the days of sport but the group must accept responsibility for their own transfers between the hotel and the airport as well as between their home and airport.

Q. What is the £200 Team Registration?

A. The £200 team registration is exactly that.  In order to confirm your place at our Saloufest 2005 Sports Festival send in £200 per team entering and we will be able to confirm your entry into our tournaments and we can start to work on tournament structures etc.

The £200 per team will then be calculated and deducted from your teams final balance in February.
